How To Hear God's Voice
Attended "How to hear God's voice" seminar by Teresa on friday & sat. Had to play hide & seek with my supervisor on fri cos seems to have some last minute things that need to be settled. Managed to find my way out on time to go for the seminar.
Seminar on both days was both boring & interesting to me. There were times where I felt like dozing off but there were times of fun & enjoyment too. Realized that there are three ways God can communicate to us -seeing, hearing & sensing.
God likes to communicate to us but we had to learn to listen to Him. Seminar ended with a calling for people to submit their lives totally to God which many responded. Time is still not ripe for some of us as we had been taught to do/think in logical ways which make it hard for us to submit totally to God. Entering into a covenant with God & knowing that I will not be able to keep it is not what I want to do at this point of time. But fear not, for our God is a merciful and loving God which will never give up of us though we felt that we are not worthy at times. Continue to press on and spur one another on especially when the day are approaching near.
Having supper on both nights may not be such a great idea after all. Quite siong to the health and my pocket too. Felt that staying out late frequently may not be very such a great idea after all. Struggling with two mindsets between the christian thinking and earthly thinking. Need to sort out some issues before taking a step further.
Life is not mainly about working or playing, but rather a purpose which make a difference. Are we really clear of what our purpose in lives is all about? I'm constantly searching for it and hopefully will find it soon.
