Church Camp 2008

Came back from Philippines on wed and made my way to the church camp on fri. It was abit rushing here and there. Somehow, life had been different ever since I decided to take up the new offer. Went with a rather heavy burden as there is simply too much uncertainty in the coming future.
Ironically, church camp was at Malacca 2 years ago too. Though things seem pretty much the same, in fact many things had changed since then. Looking back at the past photos, some people had left, some new people had joined, the attitude and mindset had changed too. As I sat at the back of the seats, Sean is already a married man, CS is attached, some had broken up, while others simply had grown older. The excitement, the youth and even some of the innocent had been replaced by maturity, safety, wearyness etc.
Thanks to many which helped to make my family feel comfortable and at ease, especially CS, Elaine, Sop, Shijia etc. Also, the sermon was very well preached and many personal encounter was shared with all of us so that we too can hear and believe.
Somehow changes is a constant process and we had to learn to conquer it. Let not harden our hearts so that our spiritual eyes and ears can hear the sound of God. Sometimes, difficult situation is simpy to draw us back to God. Let us continue to wait and rest for the time being till God's purpose is revealed to us.
