Updates

It seemed that a lot of people had been asking about my recent found relationship. Fine, I knew that many had been waiting for a LONG LONG time to see who in this earth will have the honour to be my gf. In actual fact, some may even find it hard to believe that this day may even come true...though we knew this had happened already and the angels in heaven are partying now......hahaha!!
It first started with some questions being asked plus some thinking and considerations on both parties. It sure need some serious thinking through the mind as it require commitment and effort and perhap even some sacrifice on both sides. Will it really last for the rest of the life? This I can't answer as I know for a fact that things are constantly changing and we never know what's going to happen the next moment. However, if we do not even have the courage to take the first step out, things will definitely not change at all.
It so happened that I have a US trip for more a week and there after, I decided to close the deal when i returned to SG on 10 Aug 2008. By God's grace, ML gave her consent and the Prince and his Princess lived happily ever after since then till now. As for Princess C, where is your updates ah? Long time never meet up also loh...!!

Mount Vernon - Final Episode?

Sitting in Columbus airport waiting for my flight which had just been announced that it's delayed for 40 minutes. This leaves me with only 2 hrs for my connecting flight at New York later. Somehow, I think I have to pray really hard so that I can be home on-time. Received news early in the morning that there's a thunderstorm in NY which might cause a delay , and now I'm still stuck at the domestic airport. Dun tell me I really had to spend one night in NY ah!!
Anyway, this trip had been quite blessed with many people appearing in my midst. There is Mr Yee who had been posted to MTV this year, Duanne & Fooraq which are in the same training with me last year and this year plus last but not least, Connie which just joined RR in MTV since Nov 2007. I can't help but feel that indeed many things in our lives happen for a reason, and sometimes, we might not be able to see the 'Big' picture at first until finally, it seem to make sense after all.
Mr Yee had been bringing me out for dinner from Sat till Wed where Connie (a pretty chinese lady) joined in on wed as well, Duanne brought Fooraq and myself to Easton on Thur where we had some shopping plus a movie (Indianna Jones), and finally I knew the reason behind me buying a car in Mar this year. This is to enable me to drive around MTV...haha!! Anyway, Fooraq had to catch his flight ard the same time which simply mean I just had to follow and not worry abt getting lost. Thanks God for all this special arrangement.
Now, I just had to make sure that I'm able to catch the flight at NY and that there's no delay in both Columbus and NY. In this case, I'll be back in Singapore by sunday morning then. Come, let's pray!!

Mount Vernon - 2nd Night

Just spent my second night at Holiday Inn Express and having to wake up again at 2am in the morning. Hmm....strange that I always tend to get less sleep when abroad. Anyway, the past 2 days had been quite fun and entertaining with Mr Yee bringing me around. Sat afternoon was spent at Jeffersonville - Prime Outlet which was about 2.5hrs drive away from Mount Vernon. The designs of the clothes still look pretty the same to me hence I'm not that keen to buy any stuffs. Ended up with only 2 Nike T-shirts which can't even cover the petrol costs incurred. Later part was the ride to Polaris where we had dinner at the Cheesecake Factory. The place seem to be quite popular with the local people as many had to queue for a table. I ordered a Banana cheesecake which they served me a Lime Cheesecake instead. No wonder the taste was sour when I thought it was supposed to be sweet.
Sunday afternoon was a return visit to Polaris where I bought a couple of stuffs e.g. Coach bags, Definite cosmetics for ML's cousin, joanne etc. Hmm...maybe I should charge administrative fees for the hard work in searching and transporting back. Luckily I bought another empty luggage loh or else how to bring back. Now is to pray that the luggage will not get lost on the way back liao.
It's time to think about the issues incurring and let see how it proceed from here then. Looking forward to the return and spending the next 4 nights in US. Sometime, what we want, we often dun get it. Or when we get it, we may not really like it. That's the way of life.

Mount Vernon - Episode 2

Arrived in Mount Vernon safely after a frustrating and frightening 1.75hrs of car journey. It's been close to 1 year since I last stepped foot on US. Now once again I'm back in the States for another round of training. Differences is I'm in another department and there's only myself travelling alone this time round.
Travelled on SIA instead of UA which made the journey slightly more comfortable. However, having to travel for more than 24 hrs including transit time dun really seem a pleasant experience especially when I'm alone. The car rented was much more spacious and better than I had expected. However, driving on the left hand is still a challenge and not to mention the differences in traffics and unfamilarity with the roads. If not for the fact that I want to go Factory outlet, I would have prefer to take a cab instead and stay in Mount Vernon Inn.
God had been kind and gracious given the facts that I dashed through 1-2 red lights, nv stop at the stop-sign and turning where I should not, I'm still safe and sound in Holiday Inn Express. The original 1 hr journey became a close to 2 hrs journey even though I got myself a GPS system. Wonder where I'll end up if I had relies on map only. Hmm....the song this week...."I'm lost in wonder..." seem familiar.
Anyway, time to rethink about the committement in my life. Congratulation to the 2 folks and remember that it's only the beginning, not yet the end. All the best and let God be the centre focused point instead of just one another in the eyes. Easy to say, not easy to do!! Need to seriously think about the level of committement liao.
