Almost there

4 more days to go before the end of my ICT. Thanks God that I'm in this flight where the training is not too "siong" and the people in my session are pretty ok too. Seated in the V200 today and due to the earlier rain, the weather was pretty cool and things wasn't as bad as I had expected.
Had a short conservation with CS and some views was exchanged regarding the way things are currently being handled in our midst. Introducing a friend may end up in losing a friend. How interesting and how sad things had turned out to be. Some time the line had been drawn too clear that many had forgotten and the reason thing exist in the beginning. Haiz!!
Booked our short trip to Genting once again. Hopefully it will turn out to be better than expected as well.

Sign

Finished the second week of my ICT and looking forward to the end of next week before it end. Time for some reflection and it seem that some things never change and it will come back from time to time.
Baptism is going to be carried out once again in Nov. The same old issue resurfaced once again like last year. The only difference is in the attitude that I'm adapting right now. Perhaps I'm really irritated by the constant "I Know it all" attitude of some people. I guess it's my own attitude that need to reflect too. However, I won't force myself to do anything that's against my wishes at this point of time.
Have we often wondered at some point of time how somehow the right thing to do seem to be the thing that we find it the most difficult to do? People can advise but ultimately, it's up to the individual to choose the path that they want to take. If even God wait till the end of one's life before He judge, who then are we to determine right or wrong at this point of time?
It's been quite some time since the joining of the church but does it really mean that it's the reason that Baptism should be the only way? Guess rebellious is my nature and the more people tried to impose their ideas on me, the more I will draw a line and pull away from them.
Let me just continue to wait for the sign to appear then.

Dead Tired

The week of ICT is coming to an end for this week. Had been waking up as early as 4.45am every morning which I had not done so for the past 3 years. The training is relatively more relaxed compared to our active time. However, I am having aches all over my body as it's been ages since I last exercised.
Completed my section & platoon training for the rest 2 days. Now I am feeling dead tired and looking forward to my fri & sat evening liao. Need to go to sleep now.

Lunar

Quite a bit of things that occur today. Won't say it's all smooth sailing but defintely for a reason or so. Went to Bedok to get two new 3G phones for my parents. (even better than mine loh!!)
Met up with S2 & CS at city hall where we had dinner at Xin Wang Cafe before we proceed for a short walk tour ard Clarke Quay. Finally settled down at Lunar where it's the first time there for the 3 of us. It's quite a unique bar which the live band played chinese songs instead of the usual english songs. Price was quite reasonable for the drinks and the band was not too bad lah. Had our own share of fun sharing some stories of the past and trying to sort some issues along the way.
Left at ard 11.30pm as some of us are already feeling abit "high" so better flee before we make a crowd of ourselves. Haha!! Anyway, one word of advise for the gals out there who like to go drinking with friends especially guys, better try to keep yourself sober and not do things that you'll regret in future. Not all guys can be trusted and who can keep himself sober in times of crisis. Luckily, there is still one all you gals can trust - ME ME ME.....haha!!

Beginning of ICT

Tomorrow is the third day of my ICT. However, instead of being in camp today, I spent my whole morning slacking on my bed at home. Envy rite? All you people especially those that's currently serving their ICT. The reason for my special treatment? Because I'm special or handsome perhaps. Haha!! The truth is because I'm on 2 days MC for Fri and Sat. I went to the doctor yesterday and found out that I'm running a high fever of 39.3 0C. Not sure if the sickness came at the right time, especially when I'm supposed to take my IPPT today.
However, I can't deny that I really enjoy the feeling of staying at home compared to reporting back to camp early in the morning. (So shiok especially when people are sweating in their green uniform)
The first two days are quite relaxed compared to the active times. Nothing much to do except lectures for the first day and some tests on the second day. The only thing that never change is that we are always wasting our time waiting rather than doing things more efficiency and effectively. Yesterday we had to waste more than 2 hrs waiting for people to had their haircut done as they had failed the inspection. Those that had made the effort to get their haircut done in the first place should be allowed to book out early as a form of encouragment. However, all had to stay back and waste our time waiting which is quite a dissappointment. I understand the importance of team spirit but we must also recognise the rewarding portion when it is time.
Next 2 weeks seem to be much "siong" and I certainly hope that my body can take it. That's all for now and let me juz enjoy my weekend for now.

First ICT Tomorrow

Tomorrow I will be reporting to camp for my first ICT. The song and lyrics in my heart - "Count on me, Singapore x 2)...I love my country and I gladly do my part for my nation, my people.....!! How good if that is the truth for me ah!! It's been 3 years since I came out of the army and tomorrow mark the day where I will be going in for 3 weeks training. OMG!! Why, God? Why is it me, God? What have I done to deserve this?
Haha!! Enough of my nonsense liao!! Anyway, I can start to feel the stress accumulating in my body and heart, Haiz!! IPPT this coming fri...not sure if I can still pass or not? Perhaps I need to talk to some gals before the IPPT commence so that I can have more motivation. I better start planning for my Fri or Sat program or I'll be even more sad with nothing to look forward to.
How I wish time will flies to three weeks later immdeiately....wishful thinking loh!! The only consolation that I have now is that CS will be going in with me. Haha!! Such a coincidence rite. Not so sad since I have him to suffer along with me. Cya..all my gals fren for now!!

BC 14th Anniversary

Today is BC's 14th anniversary. Can't recall whether it's the 3rd or 4th session that I attended. Times really flies and years passes by so quickly before I realized it. Slight change in the people compared to last year. Nevertherless, we should still rejoice.
Suzie was here with us today and hopefully, she will enjoy the whole event. Maybe it make some difference to her life. GQ was here to accompany Suzie today too. After the anniversary, the whole gang proceed to web's place where two groups proceed to do their individual activities. One group went for tennis session while the other was hiding at web's room to chit-chat, dance and setting up the "Big Canon Gong Hui". Guess which group I'm in?
Joined xj, web, henry & xj's fren for a short run at bedok reservoir in the late afternoon. I loved exercising or should I say the "Power of the Skirt"? Haha!! 3 more days before my ICT start. Feeling abit sian right now and hopefully, it will be a relaxed session for me this time round.

Unpredictables Friday

Finally, after so many days of hard work, I decided to give myself a break by taking a leave off the routine maintenance. Took a day off and planning to web's place to "upgrade"....but weather was unpredictable and it began to rain. Haiz!! Guess I can plan but success depend on God's will.
Met up wif Mich ard 4.30pm at city hall where we entered ms arcade to play games that I had never played since years back e.g. shooting, daytona and taxi etc. Not too bad an experience I suppose to revive the child's spirit in us. We are joined by CS and his friend - Elaine followed by Pris, Sijia, Web and finally Suzie. Dinner was at food court and therefore, all of us proceeded to Esplande for the dancing festive. Mich, Suzie, Web and myself had fun learning the basics once again. I decided to forsake some of the moves which is "unglam" as defined by them...haha...image is impt lah!!
Drinks was followed at The Coffee Club at Millenium Walk where many jokes and talks was shared and discussed. Future partner are forever the hotest topics for now where it start from fren to sis till vietnam or china matchmaking agency etc. We sure know how to talk craps and entertain ourselves.
Finally, CS used his "luxurious" MPV - Multi-Purpose Van (Described by Mich) to gave everyone of us back home. At that point of time, it was indeed even better than ck's "sonata" or egwin's vios. Who cares what the vehicle is as long as it can bring all of us back home safety and most importantly, FOC!! The journey itself was funny yet enjoyable as the van had to work doubly hard while trying to go up the slope. (Web was trying to console the van for working so hard on a Fri nite) Anyway, a big thanks to CS for being sure a good chauffeur to send everyone of us back home. It was a journey from the central to the west to North East and finally East. A long 2 hrs drive man.

Lindy Once Again

Last Friday was spent at SAM where GQ jio a group of us to revive the joy of dancing Lindy once again. There was some crop-up here and there which include late arrival and mis-communication etc. Met up at City Hall where I had only time for buns for dinner. So Sad!!
Arrived late for the dance lesson where I thought of skipping totally in case I couldn’t catch up with the speed of learning. Luckily, the session turned out to be pretty fun and relaxed after all. This was partly because I learnt some of the basics before….haha!! There were GQ, Suzie, web, mich and myself where Egwin joined us at the end of the lesson. Bystanders include CS, Pris & Shijia that had their fun of watching as well.
After dancing, we proceed to Boat Quay where we settled at TCC for some coffee and chit-chat session. The feeling was good as it’s been quite a long while since such a big group of us gathered together. Though there were many different reasons and stories behind every single personnel, it was a good catch up session for all of us. Seriously, I do not believe it was by chance that we gathered together but there must be some bigger significance, which need time to reveal the truth.
Not too forget, we even had Faye and Wendy who popped out of nowhere to join us as well. Singapore is really such a small city and fate bring us all together. Cheers to Friday night and may all our wishes continue to come true.

Monday Storm

Had an wonderful outing with Gq, eg, web, cs, shijia and lastly michelle last sat. The places shifted from Indochine to tcc and finally ended in Mcdonald at Clarke Quay. Guess my outing will always ne about food, drinks and R & R. Haha...that's one thing that had never change at all.
Anyway, my work started with a big surprise today. The colleague - J which was supposed to conduct the training with me today decided to let me fly kite alone by going on mc. Well done, man!! Luckily, I had conducted the first training session last wed or I'll kena deep shit this time round.
Received my first sms this morning from cs. Last 16 days countdown before we report back camp in green. Fish...that's not really something that I would look forward to. I decided to cancel my leave for thur since I got a meeting in the morning itself. Haiz...can't go "upgrading" on thur liao. That's fate..I guess!!
Also, the bachelor outing organized by web may change from St. James to Starbuck instead. Reason being most of us has to report back for work the following day. Age is catching up and I seriously dun tink we can survive without sufficient sleep and going back to work the next day. Poor web...he must be so dissappointed.
